HG solutions for removing mould

• HG mould remover foam spray: This mould stain remover features a unique foam formula with a less pungent odour. It is easier to target the mould and creates less splashing. The foam remains on the surface longer for better and more sustained action. It is suitable for tiled and rendered walls, including marble and other natural stone, and grout in bathrooms, showers, toilets, kitchens, cellars, basements, saunas, swimming pools, garages and sheds. Spray from 3–5 cm away. For stubborn soiling, spray again after 30 minutes and leave for another 30 minutes, then clean with water and a sponge. The product has a bleaching effect; if in doubt, test first on an inconspicuous area.
• HG mould spray: This product instantly destroys mould in damp areas, both indoors and outdoors, without scrubbing. It is suitable for tiled walls, including marble, silicone grout and rendered surfaces in bathrooms, showers, toilets, kitchens, cellars, basements, saunas, swimming pools, garages and sheds. Spray from 3–5 cm away, leave to work for 30 minutes, then clean with water and a sponge. For stubborn soiling, repeat the treatment. The product bleaches grey and black mouldy areas.

Chemical-free mould cleaning solutions

Household remedies and alternative methods for removing mould are frequently mentioned online. We do not recommend using these. Mould is stubborn and requires a product specially developed and approved for this purpose. Alternative methods offer no guarantee of effective and safe results and rarely tackle mould at its source. Always check the manufacturer's maintenance instructions for the surface before applying anything.

• Hot water and mechanical cleaning: In some cases, the surface can be gently cleaned with water and a sponge or brush, but this rarely addresses mould structurally.
• Steam cleaning: Heat can help loosen surface soiling, but does not always deliver lasting results with mould.
• General cleaning products: These are not specifically formulated for mould removal and may be insufficiently effective.
