How to remove deodorant stains | 5 tips on how to get deodorant stains out of shirts and other clothes

It is easy to remove deodorant stains from clothes with HG perspiration and deodorant stain remover. It is not a problem to remove even the whitest and most yellow deodorant stains. You can use it to remove yellow deodorant stains from white clothes and white stains from black clothes. You can even prevent these deodorant stains by using it regularly to wash your clothes.

This is how you use HG perspiration and deodorant stain remover:

1. Spray a liberal amount of HG perspiration and deodorant stain remover on the stains.
2. Leave to absorb for 30 minutes. Make sure the liquid does not dry out and does not come into contact with other materials or surfaces.
3. Then wash the garment in the washing machine in the usual way, with the recommended dose of main detergent and at a maximum temperature of 60°C.

Our HG perspiration and deodorant stain remover is the easiest and most effective way to remove deodorant from clothes. There are alternative products you can try first. We cannot guarantee that they work. And be careful! It is often wise to try them in an inconspicuous place first. You use them at your own risk.

• Remove deodorant stains with vinegar
  White vinegar is really suitable for getting a deodorant stain out of clothes. Put a cup of vinegar in a bucket of cold water. Leave the garment to soak for 30 minutes to an hour. If you want to remove deodorant stains that have been absorbed? Mix equal parts of water and vinegar and only soak the stain. Brush away the stain with an old toothbrush as much as possible. Then wash the garment as usual. 
  
  
• Remove deodorant stains with baking soda
  You can also use baking soda to remove deodorant stains on a shirt. Mix the baking soda with water to produce a thin paste. Generally three-quarters baking soda and one quarter of water is a good mix. Put it on the stain and leave it to absorb for at least 30 minutes and no more than two hours. Then put the garment in the washing machine and wash it with a normal cycle.

• Removing deodorant stains from clothes with paracetamol
  Strangely enough, paracetamol is also a good product for removing yellow deodorant stains from white clothes. Do not use this method to remove white deodorant stains from black clothes. Break up a few paracetamol tablets. Four or five is usually enough. Mix this with water. Make sure it is not too watery. If it is too runny, the paste does not adhere properly to the stain. Leave the paste for 1 hour but no more than 3 hours. Then wash the garment as usual.

• Remove deodorant stains with ammonia
  Ammonia is a more aggressive product. So only use it for stubborn deodorant stains. Make sure you are in a properly ventilated room and wear household gloves. Ammonia can irritate the skin. Dab the ammonia to remove the deodorant stains. Leave to work for a few minutes and for maximum one hour for more stubborn stains. Then wash the garment in the normal way.

Removing yellow deodorant stains is particularly difficult. That is because they are the result of a reaction between sweat and deodorant. This shows up in white and light clothes in particular. In black clothes, these stains are formed too but they show up less. And in black clothes you are more likely to have white stripes. The white stripes come from the deodorant itself. It is easier to remove white deodorant stains from black clothes than to remove yellow ones from white clothes. But if you leave them too long, they can still turn stubborn. Removing these absorbed deodorant stains is not that easy.
