How to clean a phone, and how to clean an iPad screen with these tips

How to clean an iPad or a mobile phone screen:

1. Spray the product on the screen once or a few times. Don't spray too much. The liquid should not be dripping. 
2. Clean and dry the screen with a soft and lint-free cloth. For example a microfibre cloth.
3. If the smudges are pretty bad, use a little more liquid and rub it onto smudge in rotating motions. 

First of all, it is good to clean your phone or tablet because you can see better. Greasy fingerprints can really smudge the screen. Cleaning the lens of your phone will make for better photos. Cleaning your phone or iPad is safer too. A phone is often a source of bacteria. Consider how often you put your phone down, or where you put it down! Outside too. 1. Clean a tablet or phone screen with washing-up liquid

Moisten a lint-free cloth with a little water and washing-up liquid. Wipe your screen clean and dry it off. It is better not to use kitchen roll or a tea towel. 2. Remove dirt from connections

Cleaning your phone includes cleaning the connectors. You can do that blowing hard into them. You can also straighten a paperclip and wrap it with some sticky tape with the sticky side on the outside. Be careful that you don't damage anything.

There are some products that are better not to use for cleaning a tablet or a mobile:

1. Vinegar is a commonly used cleaning product. However, it is not good for cleaning your phone screen. Vinegar is corrosive. It will clean a screen or touch screen, but it can also become dull.
2. Ammonia is a good grease remover but it is too aggressive for cleaning your phone or tablet. So it is better not to use that either.
3. You can clean an iPhone or iPad with soap, but please be sure you wipe off the soap properly. Otherwise, a thin layer remains that means your touchscreen no longer works properly.

When you clean your mobile it is good to use a checklist. It means cleaning your iPhone is quickly done and you don't forget anything:

1. Wash your hands before you start cleaning your phone.
2. Do you have a cover on your phone? Remove it before you start cleaning your phone
3. It is extremely important that you switch off the phone before you start cleaning it.
4. Now you can clean your mobile phone. Start with the ports. Use a paperclip with sticky tape or blow it clean.
5. Now you can clean the phone screen with water and washing-up liquid or you can use HG screen cleaner. Ideally, you use a lint-free cloth.
6. Also clean the back of the phone. For that you can also use HG screen cleaner. 
7. Your telephone is completely clean again. Don't forget to clean your cover before you put it back on the phone.
